Great Self less Efforts! There used to be a Vegetarian Food Relief Organization in New York. I do not believe in pork farming, but they say that pork might like milk that is about to spoil. Perhaps some neighborhoods can try to grow their own food.
Amazing place
Where’s the frozen bird spoken of?

Super Prakash! Wish you all the very best :)
Good activity Prakash🙏🏾
😴 "Promo sm"
It can be juiced also.
I have been eatting it raw. It reminds me of a sweet potato.
When I am fortunate enough to find nice fresh jicama in my local grocery store, I often approach other customers and ask them if they have tried it! My main ways of eating it are raw, in salads and stir-fried in place of canned water chestnuts! (Being an older lady, I feel pretty safe in doing this!)
Boil like in stew ???
Can u boil Jicama???
I love Jicama <3 <3 <3
Us western Pennsylvanians do this too! Perfect fun way to donate. The feeling of sabotaging though
My mistake... I was looking for cooking frozen leg quarters. Bummer.
Thank you so much for all you're doing! You are truly appreciated!
I WAS WONDERING WHAT THIS GIANT MEXICAN POTATO WAS. 😅
Delish! I make a broccoli slaw but add jicama to it!
We slice them up and add lime, chili powder and a hint of salt IT'S SO GOOD
Can I use it dear
Haha....I found this video looking for uses of this as we got some here at the local food bank I work at! It's still "too strange" for a lot of our clients, but maybe this will help me guide them!
p̾r̾o̾m̾o̾s̾m̾ ❤️
Why not eat the peelings??
peelings have a kind of leathery texture and no a good taste. So it is better don't eat them.
With some watermelon and cucumber and tajin omg so good.
Slap some Tajín… done.
THANK YOU! I am stupid and i thought you eat it like an apple lol
Do not eat it's skin, it's toxic.
I didn't get it. Where does the jicama come from?
Native to Mexico. The rest of the plant like the leaves and pea pods are posioness. The root here as shown is great to consume raw or cooked.
I Ate one and I pooped for 5 times a days for a month and a half
Thats cause you are supposed to eat some not one. Lol! You shouldnt eat the whole thing in a day. Thing is loaded with fiber so it will empty you out if you eat too much.
Congrats! love the way you communicate...Thanks Mary Ann
We diced it and eat with sautéed shrimp paste in the Philippines. I also like to soak it in vinegar with little garlic, salt, black pepper and chili
Bettering raw like a fruit, Rutabaga and potatoes are better the get harder when you cook them lol way to expensive
I just eat it straight away after peeling it. Sweet and refreshing
Yes! That’s also my favourite way to eat it! Though they also sell jicaletas here, which is a big slice that’s covered in some chili powder and chamoy and it’s really lovely too 😩
